Punjab Nahi Jaungi (Urdu: پنجاب نہِیں جاؤں گی‎) can be a 2017 Pakistani romantic comedy film, written by Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar and directed by Nadeem Baig. It stars Humayun Saeed, Mehwish Hayat and Urwa Hocane in lead roles.[5] The story is a few love triangles, between the lead characters, and therefore the the} film also exhibits the Punjabi culture of Pakistan.

Ø Plot
The story revolves around Fawad Khagga, who dreams of finding a girl to love. His cousin, Durdana Butt loves him, but Fawad does not. He goes to a Pir and asks him to help find the girl. Meanwhile, Amal Dastoor arrives from London when finishing her masters in economic science. Firdous Khagga really likes Amal and wants her to marry her son Fawad. She sends a picture of Amal to Fawad, and he instantly falls in love with her. She talks to Mahtaab Khagga to induce Amal to marry Fawad. Mahtaab talks to Amal but she rejects immediately; as she likes her friend Vasay, who is coming to Pakistan to marry her. Vasay, whose oldsters area unit unmarried, works his way himself to buy an apartment. Fawad and Amal finally meet and he tries to propose her.

Development and casting
The film was a joint production between ARY Films and Humayun Saeed's production house Six Sigma Plus. The film additionally has celebrated Pakistani tv actors, like Urwa Hocane, Ahmed Ali Butt, Saba Hameed, Sohail Ahmed, Azfar Rehman, Naveed Shehzad, Behroze Sabzwari, Safeena Sheikh, Samina Peerzada and Waseem Abbas.
Iman Ali was initial chosen because the feminine lead however was replaced by Mehwish Hayat. Ø Box office

On 25 April 2018, BOD reported that the film became the highest grosser at the local box office, after collecting more than ₨ 34 crore in its thirty-four week run. This record was then broken by 2018 Indian film Sanju inside its fourth weekend in Pakistan.
Ø Critical reception
The film had a premiere event at Nuplex Cinema, Karachi, on 29 August. Rahul Aijaz of The Express Tribune rated the film 4 out of 5 stars and said, "a fine line (in terms of story) between turning ridiculous and falling over, yet it somehow manages to stay its balance and not trip often". Hamna Zubair of DAWN Images commented that the film's "comedy works", but when a "slap made an appearance... this act of violence... almost ruined" the film. Shahjehan Saleem of Something Haute rated the film 4 out of 5 stars and said that "the film soars high" because of "the stellar job" and "the script", and it "is most over merely another glitzy show of emotions".

Omair Alavi of Samaa TV rated the film 4 out of 5 stars, saying that it "has a message as well as entertainment value". However, he noted that the roles of Humayun Saeed and Ahmed Ali Butt were hard to accept. Mahwash Ajaz of Dunya News rated it 3.5 out of 5 stars and noted that the film may has "some fairly strong progressive storylines" but with some problems, while "The film's feel, the within jokes, the heavily accented English, exciting filming,... tawdry garb, rhythmic songs, relatable comedy and also the visual treat" all square measure "paisa vusool". Rabiya Maqbool writing for the web site Bolo soldier praised the film, stating that the director "has succeeded once more in piecing along a movie that is gratifyingly refreshing and a very welcome addition" to cinema.
